HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 33
BY REPRESENTATIVE SCHRODER
COMMENDATIONS:  Commends Angelica Dickson for her many accomplishments
1	A RESOLUTION
2To commend Angelica Dickson for her many accomplishments.
3 WHEREAS, Angelica Dickson is a lifelong swimmer and began her running career
4during her senior year in high school; in 2012, she won the 1600 and 3200 meter 5A Outdoor
5Track State Championship; and
6 WHEREAS, she will graduate from the United States Military Academy at West
7Point in May of 2016; and
8 WHEREAS, as a cadet at West Point, Miss Dickson achieved numerous
9accomplishments, including being a world championship qualifier in the Ironman 70.3 race,
10a finisher in the 2015 40th Annual Marine Corps Marathon, a 2014 Army Navy Patriot
11Games Team Member, a USA Triathlon Collegiate All-American in 2013 and 2014, a 2013
12Northeast Triathlon Conference Rookie of the Year, and she served as the 2016 Company
13Commander for H. Company, 2nd Regiment, United States Corps of Cadets; and
14 WHEREAS, Angelica Dickson merits the highest commendation and most sincere
15congratulations for her extraordinary accomplishments.
16 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
17Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Angelica Dickson for her outstanding
18accomplishments and does hereby extend to her every good wish for success and happiness
19in all of her future endeavors.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
21to Angelica Dickson.
