Proposed law requires the governing boards under the direction of DHH to give express written
approval by two-thirds of their members for any salary adjustment or cost of living adjustment, and
requires the governing board to submit the express written approval to the secretary of DHH for
inclusion in the documentation retained by the department under present law.
Effective upon signature of the governor or upon lapse of gubernatorial action.
