CONSERVATION.  Provides for certain fees collected by the office of conservation. (gov

1	AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 30:21(B)(1)(d)(xxi) and to repeal R.S. 30:21(B)(1)(d)(xvi),
3 relative to fees collected by the commissioner of conservation; to provide for
4 application, compliance, and fees; to decrease certain fees; to repeal after-hours
5 disposal of exploration and production waste fee; to provide terms, conditions, and
6 requirements; and to provide for related matters.
7 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
8 Section 1.  R.S. 30:21(B)(1)(d)(xxi) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as
9 follows:
10 ยง21. Fees and charges of the commissioner of conservation; revisions; exceptions;
11	collections; Oil and Gas Regulatory Fund; creation; amounts;

15	(d) There shall be an application fee payable to the office of conservation, in
16 a form and schedule prescribed by the office of conservation, by industries under the
17 jurisdiction of the office of conservation. In addition to any other fee that is on the

1 schedule on July 1, 2015, the commissioner may collect the following fees:

5 Section 2.  R.S. 30:21(B)(1)(d)(xvi) is hereby repealed. 
6 Section 3.  This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
7 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
8 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
9 vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
10 effective on the day following such approval.

Present law allows the commissioner of conservation to charge certain fees to the industries
under the jurisdiction of the office of conservation.
Present law provides for a commercial facility reuse material applications fee of $300.
Proposed law reduces the fee from $300 to $100.
Present law provides for an authorization for after-hours disposal of exploration and
production waste fee of $150.
Proposed law repeals present law.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
