Present law requires every vehicle standing or parked on a highway where there are adjacent curbs
to stand or park with the right-hand wheels of such vehicle parallel to and within eighteen inches of
the right-hand curb.
Present law defines "residence district" as the territory contiguous to a highway not comprising a
business district, when the frontage on such a highway for a distance of three hundred feet or more
is mainly occupied by dwellings or by dwellings and buildings in use for business.
Proposed law provides that present law does not apply in a residence district.
Proposed law provides that proposed law supercedes any conflicting provisions of present law and
any local ordinance or regulation adopted by any authority.
Effective August 1, 2016.
