Present law provides that the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum of La. in Monroe is under
the overall jurisdiction of the Dept. of State.
Proposed law repeals provisions of the law relative to the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum
of La. to complete the transfer from the Dept. of State to the Ouachita Parish School Board pursuant
to a Nullification of Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the Ouachita Parish School Board
and the State of La. and Reversion of Property to the Ouachita Parish School Board.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
