SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 112

COMMENDATIONS. Commends the Jefferson Davis High School graduating class of
1966 on celebrating its 50th class reunion.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend and congratulate the 1966 graduating class of Jefferson Davis High School in
3 Jennings, Louisiana, on the celebration of its fiftieth class reunion.
4 WHEREAS, the Jefferson Davis High School graduating class of 1966 was
5 comprised of sixty-five students; and
6 WHEREAS, they will be traveling back to Jennings from different states throughout
7 the country to attend the momentous event; and
8 WHEREAS, the Jefferson Davis High School Class of 1966 will gather in May,
9 2016, during the Memorial Day weekend to celebrate friendships and share memories of
10 lives well lived in the fifty years since they stepped into their adult lives.
11 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
12 does hereby congratulate the members of the 1966 graduating class of Jefferson Davis High
13 School upon the celebration of its fiftieth year class reunion, does hereby welcome them
14 back to Louisiana to celebrate such a significant and meaningful occasion, and does hereby
15 extend best hopes and wishes for many more years of celebrations.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
17 Jefferson Davis High School graduating class of 1966.
