1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 13:783(F)(7), relative to group insurance expenses of the clerk
3 of court's offices; to provide for the Terrebonne Parish clerk of court's group
4 insurance expenses; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 13:783(F)(7) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:

11 (7) In the parishes of Avoyelles, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Cameron,
12 Franklin, Grant, LaSalle, Ouachita, Terrebonne,Webster, and Winn, the clerk of
13 court shall pay, from the clerk's salary fund, one hundred percent of the premium
14 costs of the group life and accidental death and dismemberment, group health,
15 accident, dental, hospital, surgical, or other medical expense insurance for any
16 employee that retires from the Avoyelles Parish clerk of court's office, Bossier Parish
17 clerk of court's office, the Caddo Parish clerk of court's office, the Caldwell Parish
18 clerk of court's office, the Cameron Parish clerk of court's office, the Franklin Parish
19 clerk of court's office, the Grant Parish clerk of court's office, the LaSalle Parish
20 clerk of court's office, the Ouachita Parish clerk of court's office, the Terrebonne
21 Parish clerk of court's office, the Webster Parish clerk of court's office, or the Winn
22 Parish clerk of court's office who is entitled to receive monthly benefits from the

1 Louisiana Clerks' of Court Retirement and Relief Fund, who has at least twenty years
2 of full-time service with the clerk of court's office in Avoyelles Parish, Bossier
3 Parish, Caddo Parish, Caldwell Parish, Cameron Parish, Franklin Parish, Grant
4 Parish, LaSalle Parish, Ouachita Parish, Terrebonne Parish, Webster Parish, or Winn
5 Parish, and who is at least fifty-five years of age. The provisions of this Paragraph
6 shall not apply to any other insurance, such as supplemental insurance, that an
7 employee may elect to purchase.
