BRIDGES/FERRIES: Designates the bridge on Louisiana Highway 2 over James Bayou as
the "Hart's Ferry Bridge"
1 AN ACT
2To designate a bridge located on Louisiana Highway 2 in Caddo Parish as the "Hart's Ferry
3 Bridge"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The Louisiana Highway 2 bridge which crosses over James Bayou in
6Caddo Parish shall be hereinafter known and designated as the "Hart's Ferry Bridge".
7 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development and its contractors
8are hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation.
9 Section 3. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
10signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
11by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
12vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
13effective on the day following such approval.
