Abstract: Changes the handling of claims for disability benefits from the La. National Guard to the
La. Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
Present law provides that all claims for death and disability benefits shall be submitted to the La.
National Guard.
Proposed law changes present law to require that all claims for disability benefits be submitted to
the La. Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
