HIGHWAYS: Designates a portion of Highway 171 in Anacoco, LA, as the "Sergeant
James Edward Martin Highway"
1 AN ACT
2To designate a portion of United States Highway 171 in Anacoco, Louisiana, as the
3 "Sergeant James Edward Martin Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of United States Highway 171 situated in the city limits of
6Anacoco, Louisiana, in Vernon Parish shall be hereinafter known and designated as the
7"Sergeant James Edward Martin Highway".
8 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
9hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation.
