HB 29 Reengrossed 2017 Regular Session Howard
Redesignates a portion of U.S. Hwy. 171 in Anacoco, La., as the "Sergeant James Edward Martin
Memorial Highway".
Provides that in the event of a conflict with present law (Act No. 75 of the 2003 Regular Session),
this designation shall supercede.
Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development to erect and maintain appropriate signage
reflecting this highway redesignation.

The Committee Amendments Proposed by House Committee on Transportation, Highways and
Public Works to the original bill:
1. Make technical changes.
2. Add that this designation shall supercede the previous designation of this portion of U.S.
