ACT 119 (HB 29) 2017 Regular Session Howard
Redesignates a portion of U.S. 171 in Anacoco, La. as the "Sergeant James Edward Martin
Memorial Highway".
Provides that in the event of a conflict with existing law (Act No. 75 of the 2003 R.S.), this
designation shall supercede.
Directs the Dept. of Transportation and Development to erect and maintain appropriate
signage reflecting this highway redesignation, provided local or private monies are received
by the department to fabricate and install the signs equal to the department's actual costs, not
to exceed $550 per sign.
Effective August 1, 2017.
