Abstract: Provides additional appropriations out of the Crescent City Transition Fund.
Present law establishes the Crescent City Transition Fund as a special treasury fund, with funds paid
to the former Mississippi River Bridge Authority and funds from the Mississippi River Bridge
Authority and Crescent City Connection Division of the Dept. of Transportation and Development.
Present law provides for the uses of monies in the fund.
Proposed law requires an additional $1.4 million to be appropriated out of the fund for ferry
operation costs, with $700,000 appropriated for Fiscal Year 2017-2018, and $700,000 appropriated
for Fiscal Year 2018-2019.
