BRIDGES/FERRIES: Designates portions of certain highways and bridges
1 AN ACT
2To designate certain bridges in the state highway system; to designate the bridge located on
3 Green Bridge Road which crosses Bayou DeLoutre in Union Parish as the "Green-
4 Bennett Bridge"; to designate the bridge located on Oakland Bridge Road which
5 crosses Bayou DeLoutre in Union Parish as the "Oakland-Bennett Bridge"; and to
6 provide for related matters.
7Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
8 Section 1. The bridge located on Green Bridge Road which crosses Bayou DeLoutre
9in Union Parish, currently known as the Green Bridge, shall be known and designated as the
10"Green-Bennett Bridge".
11 Section 2. The bridge located on Oakland Bridge Road which crosses Bayou
12DeLoutre in Union Parish, currently known as the Oakland Bridge, shall be known and
13designated as the "Oakland-Bennett Bridge".
14 Section 3. The Department of Transportation and Development and its contractors
15are hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation.
