Establishes the Commission on Assessment Review and Use in Public Schools to review matters
relative to student assessments and provides for commission membership, compensation, duties, and
termination. Provides for a written report by the commission of its findings and recommendations
to the State Bd. of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) and the House and Senate education
committees; provides for a report by BESE in response to the commission's findings and
recommendations to the governor and the House and Senate education committees; and provides for
information to be compiled by the state Dept. of Education for review and consideration by the
commission.
