COMMENDATIONS. Commends Suzette Hadden on being named Bossier Parish 2017-
2018 Elementary Principal of the Year.
1 A RESOLUTION
2 To commend and congratulate Suzette Hadden on being named Bossier Parish 2017-2018
3 Elementary Principal of the Year.
4 WHEREAS, it is with great pride that the citizens of Louisiana and the Senate of the
5 Legislature of Louisiana have learned of the much deserved honor earned by Suzette Hadden
6 on being selected as the 2017-2018 Bossier Parish Elementary Principal of the Year; and
7 WHEREAS, she is an innovative leader of education with expertise in administering
8 professional development for teachers that drives success within the classroom and school
9 operations; and
10 WHEREAS, she has twenty-five years of experience in education and seven years
11 as principal, and has served as a curriculum coach, assistant principal, and as the principal's
12 fellowship facilitator; and
13 WHEREAS, Suzette Hadden is a highly admired and exemplary citizen of Louisiana
14 and has been a member of numerous organizations throughout her career and is a well
15 respected example and voice for education in Bossier Parish and in Louisiana; and
16 WHEREAS, the most important qualification for a Principal of the Year is a superior
17 ability to provide instructional leadership to teachers and students of all backgrounds and
18 abilities and Suzette Hadden possesses and utilizes this great quality as a principal; and

1 WHEREAS, Suzette Hadden's selection as the 2017-2018 Principal of the Year
2 confirms what Bossier Parish School District, Bossier Parish teachers, and Bossier Parish
3 residents already knew: which Bossier Parish has a superior educational system; and
4 WHEREAS, the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana expresses its recognition and
5 congratulations to Suzette Hadden who has spent her career touching and inspiring the lives
6 and minds of the young students of Bossier Parish while sharing her many gifts, skills,
7 personal commitment, and time to promote and improve the educational system in Bossier
8 Parish and Louisiana; and
9 WHEREAS, the success of the state of Louisiana, the strength of our communities,
10 and the overall vitality of American society depend, in great measure, upon dedicated
11 administrators and educators like Suzette Hadden who have devoted themselves and their
12 careers to the betterment of education in their communities, their parish, and their state.
13 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
14 does hereby commend and congratulate Suzette Hadden upon being named the Bossier
15 Parish 2017-2018 Elementary Principal of the Year and does recognize her outstanding
16 service and her numerous accomplishments and contributions to the education of the youth
17 of Bossier Parish and Louisiana.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
19 Suzette Hadden.
