CAPITAL OUTLAY: Makes supplemental appropriations for the Fiscal Year 2018-2019
comprehensive Capital Outlay budget (Item #8)
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds from certain sources in specific amounts for the making of
3 supplemental appropriations to the capital outlay budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019;
4 to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. The appropriations contained in this Act are supplemental to the capital
7outlay appropriations for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 in the Act which originated as HB No. 2
8of the 2018 Regular Session of the Legislature. For this purpose, the provisions of Sections
92 through 18, inclusive, of the Act which originated as House Bill No. 2 of the 2018 Regular
10Session of the Legislature are adopted and incorporated herein by reference for the
11appropriations contained in this Act.
12 Section 2. The following sums are hereby appropriated from the source specified for
13the purpose of making a supplemental capital outlay appropriation for Fiscal Year 2018-
142019:

1Provided, that the capital outlay request application for this project shall govern the scope
2of this project.
3 Section 3. The appropriation contained in Section 1 of the Act which originated as
4House Bill No. 2 of the 2018 Regular Session of the Legislature for 07/270
5ADMINISTRATION for State Streets, Algiers including Landside Roadways at Louis
6Armstrong International North Terminal is hereby amended and reenacted as follows:
7 "On page 20 delete lines 48 through 55 in their entirety and on page 21,
8 delete lines 1 through 5 in their entirety"
9 Section 4. That Section 8B.(4) of the Act which originated as House Bill No. 2 of
10the 2018 Regular Session of the Legislature is hereby amended and reenacted as follows:
11 "On page 116, delete lines 3 through 9 in their entirety"
12 Section 5. That Section 8G.(15) of the Act which originated as House Bill No. 2 of
13the 2018 Regular Session of the Legislature is hereby amended and reenacted as follows:
14 On page 121, delete lines 30 and 31 in their entirety and on page 122, delete
15 lines 1 through 4 in their entirety and at the beginning of line 5, delete "(16)"
16 and insert "(15)"
17 Section 6. The appropriation contained in Section 4.A. of the Act which originated
18as House Bill No. 874 of the 2018 Regular Session of the Legislature for 07/274 PUBLIC
19IMPROVEMENTS for Port Construction and Development Priority Program is hereby
20amended and reenacted as follows:
21 "On page 32, at the end of line 27, after "infrastructure" delete the remainder
22 of the line in its entirety and insert "improvements for the Port of Lake
23 Charles."
24 Section 7. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not
25signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature
26by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If
27vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become
28effective on the day following such approval.
