SCR 4 2018 Second Extraordinary Session Allain
Requests LSU Center for Energy Studies, LSU Public Administration Institute, and La. Tax
Institute, in consultation with various stakeholder organizations and Senate Committee on
Natural Resources, Senate Committee on Revenue and Fiscal Affairs, House Committee on
Natural Resources and Environment, House Committee on Ways and Means, to analyze
mineral revenues, taxes, and exemptions.
Requires reports of the specific recommendations be submitted to Senate Committee on
Revenue and Fiscal Affairs and House Committee on Ways and Means on following
timeline:
(1) A preliminary status report no later than February 1, 2019.
(2) A final written report of recommendations no later than February 1, 2020.
(3) Specific bills implementing recommendations no later than February 1, 2021.
