1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 15:603(10)(r), (s), and (t), relative to DNA detection of sexual and violent
3 offenders; to provide for the collection of DNA samples from certain offenders; to
4 provide for certain crimes requiring the collection of DNA samples; and to provide
5 for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. R.S. 15:603(10)(r), (s), and (t) are hereby enacted to read as follows:
8 ยง603. Definitions
9 For purposes of this Chapter, the following terms shall have the following
10 meanings:

12 (10) "Other specified offense" means a commission of the following:

14 (r) A violation of R.S. 14:43.1.1.
15 (s) A violation of R.S. 14:95.8.
16 (t) A violation of R.S. 14:95.

18 Section 2. The Louisiana State Law Institute shall place the offenses included in
19 provisions of R.S. 15:603(10) as enacted in this Act in numerical order with other offenses
20 listed in R.S. 15:603(10).
