[R.S. 1:13(B) and 24:177(E)] HB 298 Original 2018 Regular Session Chad Brown Abstract: Removes the threshold amount of $200,000 of goods and services furnished per year for which non-gaming suppliers must obtain a permit. Present law requires non-gaming suppliers who furnish goods or services in excess of $200,000 per year to a gaming operator or slot machine or riverboat gaming licensee to obtain a non-gaming supplier permit issued by the Gaming Control Board. Proposed law removes the threshold amount of $200,000 in present law and provides that non- gaming suppliers of goods and services must obtain a permit as provided by rules of the board regardless of the amount of goods or services furnished.
