RÉSUMÉ DIGEST ACT 685 (HB 298) 2018 Regular Session Chad Brown Prior law required non-gaming suppliers who furnish goods or services in excess of $200,000 per year to a gaming operator or slot machine or riverboat gaming licensee to obtain a non- gaming supplier permit issued by the La. Gaming Control Board. New law removes the threshold amount of $200,000 and requires the La. Gaming Control Board to establish through the promulgation of rules a threshold amount of goods and services for which a non-gaming supplier permit is required. Effective August 1, 2018.
