R.S. 27:402(15) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7 ยง402. HLS 18RS-636 ORIGINAL HB NO. 299 Present law, relative to video draw poker, provides for the licensing of service entities by the Gaming Control Board, and defines a "service entity" as any person other than a distributor or device owner who repairs, services, inspects, or examines video draw poker devices in the presence of a device owner or owner's employee. Proposed law retains present law except it amends the definition of "service entity" to remove the qualifying language that the repair, service, inspection, or examination of the device be conducted in the presence of the device owner or owner's employee.
