HB NO. 299
Present law, relative to video draw poker, provides for the licensing of service entities by the
Gaming Control Board, and defines a "service entity" as any person other than a distributor
or device owner who repairs, services, inspects, or examines video draw poker devices in
the presence of a device owner or owner's employee.
Proposed law retains present law except it amends the definition of "service entity" to
remove the qualifying language that the repair, service, inspection, or examination of the
device be conducted in the presence of the device owner or owner's employee.
(Amends R.S. 27:402(15))
