Proposed law requires the state registrar to provide certain vital records to the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs upon written request for the purpose of determining veterans' benefits. Proposed law adds that the state registrar of vital records may submit data related to deaths of veterans directly to the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs in determining the eligibility of veterans benefits.
