RÉSUMÉ DIGEST ACT 179 (HB 726) 2018 Regular Session Bouie Existing law provides for the Juvenile Justice Reform Act Implementation Commission which is comprised of the following members: (1)The chief justice of the supreme court or an associate justice of the supreme court appointed by the chief justice. (2)One senator appointed by the president of the Senate. (3)The commissioner of administration. (4)The vice president for Administration and Management, Southern University and A&M College or his designee. (5)One representative appointed by the speaker of the House of Representatives. (6)One representative appointed by the La. District Attorneys Association. (7)One representative appointed by the state public defender. New law retains existing law and adds a representative of the Families and Friends of Louisiana's Incarcerated Children to the membership of the Juvenile Justice Reform Act Implementation Commission.
