R.S. 13:4163(D) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6 ยง4163. Present law provides a member of the legislature or a legislative employee the ability to file a motion for a legislative continuance or extension of time while the legislature is in session. Proposed law retains present law and provides for the filing of a motion for a legislative continuance to be done at no cost to a member of the legislature, a legislative employee, or their client.
