HB 731 Engrossed 2018 Regular Session Hunter
Abstract: Allows for a member of the legislature or a legislative employee to file a continuance
without paying court costs.
Present law provides a member of the legislature or a legislative employee the ability to file a motion
for a legislative continuance or extension of time while the legislature is in session.
Proposed law retains present law and provides for the filing of a motion for a legislative continuance
to be done at no cost to a member of the legislature, a legislative employee, or their client.
