Abstract:  Provides relative to foreign equivalency of educational qualifications of applicants to the
La. Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Present law requires that in order to become licensed by the La. Board of Chiropractic Examiners,
an applicant shall hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university approved by an
accrediting agency of the U.S. Department of Education.
Proposed law retains present law and provides that the accrediting agency may also include the
successor of the U.S. Department of Education or its foreign equivalent.
(Amends R.S. 37:2805(A) and (B)(1)(d))
