R.S. 38:1794(A)(2)(a) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as 10follows: 11 ยง1794. Present law authorizes members of the board of commissioners in Calcasieu Parish to receive compensation not to exceed $100 per day for every day a commission member is actually employed in the service of the district. Proposed law increases the maximum amount of compensation in present law from $100 per day to $150 per day.
