1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 13:783(F)(10), relative to group insurance expenses of the clerk of court's
3 office; to provide for the payment of group insurance premiums for retirees of the
4 Acadia Parish clerk of court; and to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 13:783(F)(10) is hereby enacted to read as follows:

11 (10) The clerk of court of Acadia Parish shall pay from the clerk's salary
12 fund one hundred percent of the premium costs of the group life and accidental death
13 and dismemberment, group health, accident, dental, hospital, surgical, or other
14 medical expense insurance for any clerk or employee that retires from the Acadia
15 Parish clerk of court's office who is entitled to receive monthly benefits from the
16 Louisiana Clerks' of Court Retirement and Relief Fund, who has at least twenty years
17 of full-time service with the clerk of court's office in Acadia Parish, and is at least
18 fifty-five years of age. The provisions of this Paragraph shall not apply to any other
19 insurance, such as supplemental insurance, that an employee may elect to purchase.
