Abstract: Extends the termination date for recommending or prescribing medical marijuana.
Present law authorizes the recommendation of marijuana for therapeutic use.
Present law provides for the termination date of Jan. 1, 2020 for recommending marijuana for
therapeutic use.
Proposed law extends the present law termination date from Jan. 1, 2020 to Jan. 1, 2025.
Present law authorizes the prescription of marijuana for therapeutic use. Provides for a termination
date of Jan. 1, 2020 for that authority.
Proposed law extends the present law termination date to Jan. 1, 2025.
