DIGEST
Creates the Louisiana Alcohol Delivery Task Force to study the potential issues of allowing
third party companies to deliver alcoholic beverages by third party companies and to
recommend any action or legislation.
Summary of Amendments Adopted by Senate
Committee Amendments Proposed by Senate Committee on Judiciary B to the
original bill
1. Adds eight members to the task force.
2. Adds that five members of the task force shall constitute a quorum.
3. Requires the task force to meet monthly at the state capitol beginning July 1,
2018.
4. Adds that the staff of the Senate Committee on Judiciary B shall be the staff
for the task force.
5. Requires the task force to prepare and submit a final report to the governor
and legislature no later than March 8, 2019.
