PHARMACEUTICALS. Provides relative to definitions used for the prescription

1 AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:1003(10), relative to definitions used for implementation of
3 the prescription monitoring program; to provide for an update to certain terms; and
4 to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 40:1003(10) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:
7 ยง1003. Definitions

9 (10) "Drugs of concern" means drugs other than controlled substances as
10 defined by rule which demonstrate a potential for abuse or whose use requires
11 tracking for public health purposes.
