Present law provides that in the event of a default by a lessee, the owner of a self-service storage
facility has the option to enforce all his rights under the rental agreement.
Proposed law requires the owner of a self-service storage facility to annually report to the attorney
general each instance of default by a lessee in which he has opted to enforce his rights as provided
for in present law.
Effective August 1, 2018.
