Report adopts House amendments to:
1. Require registration of death certificates using the Louisiana Electronic Event
Registration System of the Louisiana Department of Health, state registrar of vital
records.
2. Require registration to take effect on January 1, 2019.
Report amends the bill to:
1. Clarify that the coroner or physician is certifying the death certificate using the
Louisiana Electronic Event Registration System.
