Proposed law requires the Amite River Basin Drainage and Water Conservation District board to
adhere to the Open Meetings Law.
Proposed law requires the board to operate under Robert's Rules of Order.
Proposed law requires the board to designate the time and select the place for holding their regular
sessions which may be convened at any time upon call of the president or upon call of two of the
commissioners, but requires that the board meet at least quarterly.
Proposed law requires that the location of the meetings be rotated among public buildings in
Ascension, East Baton Rouge, and Livingston parishes.
Effective August 1, 2018.
