Present law authorizes the Lafourche Parish Tourist Commission to levy a three percent occupancy
tax on hotel rooms, motel rooms, and overnight camping facilities within its jurisdiction.
Proposed law increases the authorization from three to four percent.
Effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
