Present law provides relative to notary examinations. Provides that the written examination
administered by the secretary of state shall be on the first Saturday of June and December.
Proposed law provides that the secretary of state can administer the notary examination more than
twice a year, and that all examination dates will be determined by the secretary of state.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
