Requests the Dept. of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to study the feasibility of
extending the age of foster care to 21 and submit a report of its recommendations to the
legislature no later than Feb. 1, 2019.
Requests DCFS to convene an 11-member panel to advise the department in connection with
the study.

The Committee Amendments Proposed by House Committee on Health and Welfare to
the original bill:
1. Add two members to the panel which is to advise the Dept. of Children and
Family Services in connection with the study called for in the Resolution.
