APPROPRIATIONS: Appropriates funds for the expenses of the judiciary for Fiscal Year 2019-
2020
Report adopts Senate amendments to:
1. Remove the Non-Judicial State Expenses line item in the amount of $2,320,853 for the legal
representation of children in child protection cases.
Report rejects Senate amendments which would have:
1. Changed the State General Fund (Direct) reduction to be implemented by the Supreme Court
from $9,742,980 to $12,063,833.
Report amends the bill to:
1. Change Section 1.A. total from $182,907,699 to $180,836,846
Digest of the bill as proposed by the Conference Committee
Appropriates funds for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 for the ordinary operating expenses of the judicial
branch of government with total funding of $180,836,846 from the following sources: $161,203,071
out of the State General Fund (Direct); $10,240,925 from statutory dedications out of the Judges'
Supplemental Compensation Fund and the Trial Court Case Management Fund; and $9,392,850
from interagency transfers for Court Appointed Special Advocates and Drug Court.
Funding for the ordinary operating expenses of the judicial branch of government is provided in the
original bill as follows:
