ACT 60 (HB 148) 2019 Regular Session	Henry
Appropriates funds for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 for the ordinary operating expenses of the
judicial branch of government with total funding as provided in the original bill of
$180,836,846 from the following sources: $161,203,071 out of the State General Fund
(Direct); $10,240,925 from statutory dedications out of the Judges' Supplemental
Compensation Fund and the Trial Court Case Management Fund; and $9,392,850 from
interagency transfers for Court Appointed Special Advocates and Drug Court.
Funding for the ordinary operating expenses of the judicial branch of government is provided
in the original bill as follows:

Requires that appropriations from State General Fund (Direct) shall be reduced by
$9,742,980 pursuant to a plan adopted by the Judicial Budgetary Control Board or as
approved by the La. Supreme Court.
Deletes funding for Non-Judicial State Expenses associated with the legal representation of
children in child protection cases.
Effective July 1, 2019.
