Abstract: Requires the use of a safety harness in an open deer stand when hunting or taking deer.
Proposed law requires the use of a safety harness when hunting or taking deer from an open hunting
stand. Applies the requirement to hunting stands whether manufactured or homemade that are open,
with or without railings, and that are raised from the ground either by means of integrated legs or
suspended from a tree.
