Abstract: Adds postsecondary education institutions exempted from the state's risk management
program to those entities for whom the Dept. of Justice (DOJ) provides legal representation.
Present law requires the DOJ to legally represent the state, its officers, agents, employees, boards,
and commissions.
Proposed law retains present law and adds postsecondary education institutions exempted from the
state's risk management program to the list of entities for whom the DOJ provides legal
representation.
