Abstract:  Adds to the enumerated list, certain offenses that will prohibit individuals from obtaining
employment as a licensed ambulance personnel or nonlicensed person.
Present law provides for the prohibition of employers from hiring licensed ambulance personnel or
nonlicensed person when they have been convicted of certain criminal offenses enumerated within
present law.
Proposed law removes a reference to R.S. 14:62.1, which has been repealed. 
Proposed law adds the crime of identity theft to the list of prohibited offenses that would prohibit
employment as a licensed ambulance personnel or nonlicensed person.
Proposed law adds the crime of abuse of persons with infirmities through electronic means to the list
of prohibited offenses that would prohibit employment as a licensed ambulance personnel or
nonlicensed person.
