DIGEST
Authorizes the transfer or lease of certain state property in Rapides Parish from the division
of administration to the St. Mary's Residential Training School. Provides for the reservation
of mineral rights to the state.
Present law provides for a procedure for the sale of public lands
Authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretary of LDH to transfer certain
property related to the Central Louisiana State Hospital in Rapides Parish pursuant to present
law.
Authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretary of DOTD to transfer certain
property in Rapides Parish to the town of Boyce.
Authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretary of DCFS to transfer certain
property in Jackson Parish to the Jackson Parish Police Jury.
Authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretary of DOTD to transfer certain
property in Richland Parish to the town of Delhi.
Proposed law creates the Louisiana Department of Health's Facility Support Fund Number
2 and provides for the transfer, use, and investment of monies in the fund.
Proposed law requires that after subtracting costs incurred by the division of administration
related to the sale of the Central Louisiana State Hospital properties, the proceeds of any sale
be paid into the LDH Facility Support Fund Number 2 and dedicated to the planning, design,
permits, improvements, repairs, equipment, restoration, renovation, or construction of the
Central Louisiana State Hospital.
Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
