PROPERTY/PUBLIC: Authorizes the transfer of state property in Rapides Parish
Report rejects Senate amendments which would have:
1. Added the authority for the commissioner of administration and the secretary of the La.
Department of Health to transfer certain property related to the Central Louisiana State
Hospital in Rapides Parish pursuant to present law.
2. Added the authority for the commissioner of administration and the secretary of the Dept.
of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to transfer certain property in Rapides Parish
to the town of Boyce.
3. Added the authority for the commissioner of administration and the secretary of the Dept of
Children and Family Services to transfer certain property in Jackson Parish to the Jackson
Parish Police Jury.
4. Added the authority for the commissioner of administration and the secretary of DOTD to
transfer certain property in Richland Parish to the town of Delhi.
5. Created the La. Department of Health's Facility Support Fund Number 2 and provides for the
transfer, use, and investment of monies in the fund.
Digest of the bill as proposed by the Conference Committee

Parish to the St. Mary's Residential Training School. Provides for the reservation of mineral rights
to the state.
