Abstract: Requires every applicant for a driver's license or renewal of a driver's license to pay an
additional fee.
Proposed law requires that every applicant for a Class "A", "B", "C", "D", or "E" driver's license or
renewal of a Class "A", "B", "C", "D", or "E" driver's license pay, in addition to any other fee
imposed by present law, a fee of $2.75 which must be paid by the department to the La. Emergency
Response Network.
Directs the La. State Law Institute to redesignate R.S. 32:412(C) through (P), as designated prior to
the enactment of this Act, as R.S. 32:412(D) through (Q).
