PUBLIC LANDS/STATE: Authorizes the trasfer of state property in Webster Parish 1 AN ACT 2To authorize and provide for the transfer of certain state property; to authorize the transfer 3 of certain state property in Webster Parish; to provide for the property description; 4 to provide for reservation of mineral rights; to provide terms and conditions; to 5 provide an effective date; and to provide for related matters. 6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. The commissioner of administration, notwithstanding any other provision 8of law to the contrary, is hereby authorized and empowered to convey, transfer, assign, lease, 9or deliver any interest, excluding mineral rights, the state may have to all or any portion of 10the following described parcels of property to Richard Thornton: 11 Tract A 12 A parcel of property in Section 12, Township 17 North, Range 10 West in 13 Sibley, Louisiana with the municipal address of 415 Miller Briarwood Road. 14 Tract B 15 A parcel of property in Section 12, Township 17 North, Range 10 West in 16 Sibley, Louisiana with the municipal address of 421 Miller Briarwood Road. 17 Section 2. The commissioner of administration is hereby authorized to enter into 18such agreements, covenants, conditions, and stipulations and to execute such documents as 19necessary to properly effectuate any conveyance, transfer, assignment, lease, or delivery of 20title, excluding mineral rights, to the property described in Section 1 of this Act, and as more 21specifically described in any such agreements entered into and documents executed by and Page 1 of 2 CODING: Words in struck through type are deletions from existing law; words underscored are additions. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not 4signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature 5by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If 6vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become 7effective on the day following such approval.
