BOARDS/COMMISSIONS: Requires the Louisiana Used Motor Vehicle Commission to
add golf carts as a type of business that a person may select when applying for a used
dealer license
1 AN ACT
2To enact R.S. 32:791.1, relative to the licensing applications of the Louisiana Used Motor
3 Vehicle Commission; to provide for forms; to provide for used golf cart dealers; and
4 to provide for related matters.
5Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6 Section 1. R.S. 32:791.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows:
7 ยง791.1. Application for license; used golf carts
8 All forms prescribed by the commission, relative to a used dealer license,
9 shall include "used golf carts" as a type of business.

carts" as a type of business on forms relative to applying for a used dealer license.
Present law provides for the contents of the application for licensure as a used motor vehicle
dealer.
Proposed law retains present law and requires the commission to include "used golf carts"
as a type of business option on forms relative to a used dealer license.
