Abstract: Permits nonprofit entities to perform dental services at mobile dental clinics. 
Present law provides that the La. State Board of Dentistry shall adopt rules relating to the provision
of dental services at mobile dental clinics and locations other than the dental office.
Proposed law changes present law by further adding nonprofit entities.
Present law provides that dentists are permitted to perform dental services at mobile dental clinics
and locations other than their dental office.
Proposed law changes present law to provide that nonprofit entities, as described by present law, are
permitted to perform dental services at mobile dental clinics or locations other than their office. 
Present law provides that a dentist shall be in good standing with the La. State Board of Dentistry.
Proposed law changes present law to provide that a nonprofit entity shall also be permitted to provide
mobile dental clinic services. 
Present law provides that upon promulgation of rules, no dentist shall perform dental services at a
mobile clinic unless the dentist has received a permit according to present law. 
Proposed law changes present law to include that a nonprofit entity shall not perform dental services
at a mobile clinic unless the entity has received a permit according to present law.
